Due to the sensitive nature of the organization I worked with this month I am unable to share photos and names of the people I worked with. If you would like to learn more about the organization you can check it out here: (Click this link!).

In short this was a month with miracles!

Each day my team started its day with prayer for the organization and the kids in their care. Throughout the month names would get moved off the list as healing took place and new names would be added as the organization continued to play out their role in the community.

Here’s a story of a little girl:

When we arrived at our site we learned about a little girl who had a tumor and the doctors had said there was no hope. A few days before the doctors had said that she wouldn’t last 12 hours. While she had made it! The organization kept pressing for her to have surgery and kept praying that she would grow in strength and God’s healing hand would move in her life. As the days and weeks went on she continued to grow in strength and received the surgeries that she needed to set things right in her body. The surgeries were so successful and she grew in strength so much that on our last day she was able to be brought home. This was better then anyone could expect or imagine. She is not out of the woods yet and has a long road of recovery ahead of her but she is alive! This child that the doctors had said there was no hope is alive and growing stronger everyday!

The story of this little girl is just part of the month of miracles I experienced. For a week and a half out of my month I got to be in the foster home with the kids. Each kid has/had some kind of medical issue that brought them to this place. Many of the kids have similar stories to the little girl of being considered hopeless and a lost cause. Most of these kids should not be alive today due to medical issues they have overcome/are overcoming. So whether it was rocking at little girl to sleep while she experienced pain post heart surgery or helping a 7 year old boy walk for the first time in his life or playing in a sand box with a 2 year old boy, I was beholding a miracle in action.

Our God is a good father who loves his children and this month with miracle children reminded me just how much we are loved by our good good father.

I would love to tell you more about this month in detail so please ask me in person when we meet again and don’t forget to check out their website.

Financial update:

As I prepare to head to Africa for the next three month I am also heading towards my final financial deadline, July 1st. In the next two months (May & June) I need to raise $4200. My current monthly supports will cover $1000 leaving $3200 left uncovered. This breaks down to $400 a week for the next two month. Any amount of support will bring me closer to full funding. Please consider supporting me so I can stay on the World Race and continue to experience life in other countries.

Finally I want to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone who has and is supporting me financially thus far. I literally would not be here without you. For that I am extremely thankful and blessed.
