Walking through the streets of Lebane Serbia, my senses and heart are overwhelmed. I hear the beautiful words of a foreign language I do not know, I smell scents I am unsure of, I taste fruits and vegetables that are the product of someone’s dedication and hard work, I see countless strangers in which all hold a story waiting to be told. Stories that are beyond anything I have ever read or imagined, stories that are filled with fear, pain, joy, and triumph. Stories that wouldhold your and my attention for hours upon hours. Stories that may never be told or appreciated.
So take my hand as we walk together through theses new lands and work to learn these untold stories of the beautiful souls.
