I have seen God do many things over the past month and beyond.
I have seen him heal a girl who should have cracked her skull on pavement and easily gotten a concussion. We prayed over her. She is well, and sings daily in the kids choir.
I have seen a muslim woman come to faith in Jesus because she wanted a relationship, and not a religion. She now comes to church regularly, and sings her heart out to God.
I have seen my Pastor and his wife pray and fast for a means of putting electricity in their second church, and plumbing in their house. We started a campaign for them, and 2,300 dollars were donated in three weeks. They could not express the joy they were experiencing when we told them. Pastor Moses’ wife, Mary was so happy she was in tears. The best part was: They didn’t thank us.
They thanked God.
And I realized something.
Something that I had missed in the almost two months I have spent here in Rwanda. God is providing something to all of us: Provision.
I know, it sounds cliche, but it is truth at it’s very simplest.
The Provision I have witnessed has been nothing but a blessing. From Luciana, the girl who hit her head being healed, to my Pastor and his wife crying out in joy because of the money they received to put electricity in their church and plumbing in their house.
Which also made me realize just how blessed I am to have come this far. To visit three of the worlds nations and do ministry in each of them. To be 75% funded as a Canadian through an American non-profit organization.
I still don’t know God’s full plan for me, but I know this now:
I’ll follow. Wherever it takes me.
If that means he wants me to be fully funded and travel to two more of the worlds nations to proclaim his name, then so be it.
Also, If that means I am not fully funded and he is calling me home to proclaim his name there, then so be it. I am sure he will provide for the ticket home.
I am at this point where I would like to continue, to go to Nepal, to go to the Philippines. To continue his ministry there in those countries. But I also know, that may not be his plan for me. And I am okay with that.
You see, I learned something crucial while being on the Race. That is if you have faith in God, and where he will take you: He will provide.
Even if I am not fully funded by the 31st of December, I will continue to put my trust in God, because I will know what his plan is for me. And I will follow that plan.
No matter what happens,
If you put your faith and trust in God,
And follow wherever he tells you to go,
He Will Provide.
