Today I write you from Cahul, Moldova. From worldly standards that should not be possible. If you read my last blog you know that I stood $2,400 away from meeting my deadline of $11,000 for Nov 1st. I did not know how it was going to come in. However, I had complete trust in my Father. It was going to have to come from an avenue that I did not know. I knew He was going to leave no doubt. The one day before we left for debrief my team got together and that is when it happened.
I sat down and my teammate Kiera began to talk to me. A few days before I had asked her for a word and she did not really have anything but she prayed for me. So she started off by talking about that and how she prayed for my provision. She then told me how the Father was not finished with me yet on the WR. The next part is where I began to cry. The day before at church her sister at no request of Kiera got in front of their church of about 12 people and said they needed to pray for me and my finances. That catalyst resulted in her father deciding he was not going to preach but the entire church was going to spend service interceding for me. They then decided as a church to give me $1,000 dollars and then raised another $1,400 to give to me. Talk about God leaving no doubt! The next day the sent it in to Adventures in Missions and called and emailed them to let them know it was not time for me to go home yet. A few days later I found out another squadmate’s parents gave me $1,000. Family and friends of other squadmates decided to do the same and believe in this journey the Father has me on.
I had faith the entire time that my Father was going to answer my Sun Stand Still Prayer, and when He did it increased my Faith in a way I cannot even explain. That faith is transferring itself into other areas of my life. I now have even more faith in my ability to speak into the lives of others because my Father has allowed for me to continue doing it. I am trusting in Him to provide the rest of the money I will need to get to my final deadline of $15,500.
In my last blog I wrote how much the cards were stacked against me and it was not going to happen through man. And that is exactly how it happened. Can you explain how I could go from needed $2477.46 to receiving over $3957.25 in a week? I certainly cannot. The beautiful thing is I do not have to. All I had to do is trust that my Father stood for what He said He did, and wait for him to show up.
Faith is belief in things unseen. I know there are things in your life that you have no idea how they are going to be worked out. I hope that this tough experience I had to go through can speak into that situation. It is not always going to come the easy way. You will not always know how He will answer the prayer of that situation. It will not always be the answer you want. And that is okay. Your job is to release control and let your Father to take it. When it is all said and done your Father will be glorified in it, and you will blessed by it.
