This month is the start of a new season. At the end of month three, team changes are made for the new season to finish off the race. I am still with Kayla my team leader, Marci, and Keira from team Mashach. There is also three new members Erin Jackson who has a crazy heart for the Lord. If you ask for prayer be ready to receive it immediately. Christina Norr who has one of the biggest servant hearts of anyone I know. She does so much to help others behind the scenes. She does not care about the recognition. The second half of the testosterone on my team is Chad Harbaugh. He is quite but he is a very wise man. He has so much knowledge. We are now just working on getting him to share it with us. I feel so blessed to be walking through this new season with them. I know all five of my team members are going to teach me so much. And together we are going to be able to do so much together. The name we have chosen for ourselves is Relentless Warrior! We chose that name because everything we do for God we want to do Relentlessly.
We are beginning to start our second week here in Romania. So far it has stolen my heart. First our contacts Cristi, Dutzi, Marius, and Andrei have already become great friends. They all really have amazing hearts. And really pursuing the Lord in how to go about their ministry. It is amazing to be in a new country and continent. There is so much newness with the season!!
I am living in Pitesti, Romania. It is an old industrial city. Most of the people here are traditionally of the Orthodox church. Those like our contacts that are not, are persecuted by their community. There is also still a lot of communist beliefs here as well. My contact Cristi saw a gun get pulled out on his dad to renounce his religion by a police officer. Now as a grown man he sees that same man on the street multiple times throughout a week. He has constant struggle to give grace each day. I feel so blessed to be able to work with people that are willing to give up so much to see God's kingdom come down in their community. There is a lot of darkness in this city and they are choosing to bring the light.
The project I am getting to help them the most with is going into a community with gypsie( Roma people) kids and teach them English. And above that just get to love on them. It is not something many of them get from day to day. So this month it is more than ever about not just words but the actions speaking of Jesus. They have all seen so much at a young age and it is going to take a lot of love to heal those wounds.
I have been able to be here this month because I was giving an extension on my deadline to November 1st to meet $11,000. I feel so blessed I have been giving that opportunity. I know this is right where I am suppose to be. In order to keep doing this I need $2531.38 to meet my deadline. I truly need your help to be able to keep pouring out God's love on those who do not receive it. Please be in prayer that the money will be provided for. Reach out to those you know and ask if they would be willing to give towards my trip as well. Many of you have already done so much and have been right with me on this journey. Right now I am in desperate need of some more warriors to join this battle with me.
