The closer it gets to time to leave I realize more and more the things around will not stand still. When I come back things will not be the same. There was a time that would have brought saddness to my heart. Now I have a new perspective. Things will change, and I will be able to see those changes God has done in those I love in a way I could not see if I was still here. I think a lot of times you think a lot about how much of a different person you will be when you embark on something like the World Race. I am starting to think about how much those around will be different. Things like my youngest niece will be two years old and running around. My oldest nephew will be finishing up his sophomore year in high school. I will be able to enjoy those changes in a way no one else will.Â
I beginning to remind myself how much I should be praying for the journey God is going to take all those that will be back home on. They can not stand still and wait for me to come back and they shouldn’t. The journeys he is taking us all on will have an intersection. We will be able to sit down and talk about how much work God has done in us both. We will sit down and share pictures of proof. Of course some won’t have pictures and trust in the other in the God size stories will have to suffice.Â
I truly feel this time will bring us back closer in  a way that only God can explain. In realizes our more need of dependence on the FATHER we will be able to love each other in a way God intended. An unconditional love knowing all we need we receive from the father. An knowing that realizing our presence in each other’s lives is a present we should have never received. Praise God that he gives us such presents. How much more do you cherish something that was giving to out of supreme love? Giving to bring you joy in this time.
I look forward to getting back and sitting down with each of my presents individually and reopening them newly remade. It will be like cleaning out a closet and seeing the thing that brought you so much joy as a child, yet seeing it in a new light realizing it has so much more to offer. So thank you all in advance for what you have yet to bring to the table.
