To future me
I had dream while I was awake that I had to share
About feelings you might have and I am saying don't you dare
They send you off with love because of how much they care
So to future me I say: Only cry tears of joy because it is far less bitter than it is sweet
Think of all the new family members you didn't know you had you will meet
This road you were on is ending but you are going to begin walking on a new street
Two years have come and now it is time for this season to past
It is okay nothing in this life but eternity will last
But you have all the memories stored behind your mind's pristine picture frame glass
Distance does not impair love that took time and pain to create
You can't get rid of them that easy sorry for that is too late
The day you leave they will look forward to your returning date
I know you want to cry thinking of all you will miss
But if you had of stayed you would have missed out on so much bliss
And don't you worry when your return they will want to reminisce
Race out into a world you know little to nothing about
With Faith sometimes wavering with sprinkles of doubt
But with this mustard seed God only knows what will sprout
So stand strong and keep faith in what this journey will bring
For out of this next road you travel a new path will spring
And you will be prepared for it to as long as you follow THE KING
