Welcome to the last month of my time on the World Race… Its been a blast and I cant wait to home to share a little more life with everyone and swap stories of whats been going on the past year of our lives. One thing that was best shared in the photo’s is the mural we did in the front lobby of the Kawan Center. This was kind of our thought process:
“So what do you do when you have free time on your hands, lots of paint, and a huge white canvas… well You do what everyone else has done, Paint a wall!”. We decided to paint a wall at the Kawan center for Homeless outreach and this is what God delivered.
Here’s me with Jenna and Ruth standing on makeshift scaffolding we pieced together and putting some finishing touches on the words in the cross.
We had to use ladders to get to the space we chose. It was in the front lobby, about 7 feet off the floor, 4 feet tall and 6 feet wide itself.

 Classic thumbs up… 🙂

Me with Kristin Frizzell showing a little fearlessness toward heights as she paints one of the high words on the cross.
The final four, Rikki, Ben, Evan, and Joshua. What a great team!
Finally finished! We had to stay late (after closing) just to make sure it was extra finished. But we finally finished it and it looks great. Hope you all enjoy it. I wish you could have seen it in person. But I’ve already told my mom that I’ll paint a full sized remake in her living room if she wants it. 🙂

Love you all, see you soon!
Joshua
