Happy Thanksgiving!!!
The team “Living Liberation” decided to do a little bit of turkey dinner World Race style so we had only a little time and a little money but i think it worked out in the end. The amazing thing is that not only were we totally blessed in finding the money for more food, but we were also privileged enough to have Nathan and Kristen, the two squad leaders, join us for the Thanksgiving season. So that was nice 🙂
Though my life was brought into this world through my mother and my family still resides in North Carolina (or S. Korea) I loved spending every minute of Thanksgiving with my new family here in Romania. We spent the morning doing what we like to call the “First Annual Thanksgiving Day World Race Turkey Trot” or “FATDWRTT” for short. I’d like to post the video we made for it but its just a little too long so i’m gunna be making a shorter version soon and sending that out. A tradition that my family does every year, as I’m sure many of you all do, is telling all of the things we are thankful for and really reflecting on the impact that’s having in our lives. This year I am more than thankful for the friends and family that God has blessed me with. He is continuing to amaze me with the plans He has made for me. He really has gone ahead of me and set this whole thing up. Its like the most romantic date and it’s an adventure for the ages. Life is just getting better and better as God is continuing to show me more and more of Him in my life. Things that were just written words in the Bible are now promises that I can’t help but trust. Each day is something new and never has left me feeling undone. I’m tired sometimes, but in a good way. I’m pushed some days, but only forward. My heart beats more and more loudly but not with anxiety. And so I’ll beat louder and louder for my King. During the hard times and the lovely times, i’ll continue to joyfully be thankful for the life that i lead.
If there’s nothing else that i can do for you, then know i send my love to help warm you and my words to help encourage you. Please don’t let the things of this world get you down, but be thankful.
