This is a continuation from the last blog that will cover the entire dream discussed there. I’ll send out another blog soon telling you about the time this first week in Albania, but for now Let your thoughts be your thoughts on whether or not this actually happened, but know that i honestly have no reason to lie or exagerate this.
The Dream:
The dream started with me trying to sneak people out of genocide in a country in Africa. (Leading people through the rivers of Africa to escape genocide and live sucessfully in another country as a refugee has been on my mind lately through my dreams.) But it becomes apparent that i am leaving the country because of this and following one of the refugees to look for safety. This refugee takes me to his land that’s far away and has no real look; only that it’s royalty there. The king there welcomes me as though i were a good friend or someone of royatly myself but only for a little while. He shows me his fields of crops that look to extend forever, the multitude of “loyal friends”, and the excess of things that he has in his land. During a dinner he learns that i’m trying to help people and that i dont like corrupt power. Also i learn that the refugee from Africa is the Prince and rightful heir to the throne. When i learn this the whole atmosphere changes and i fear for my life that the current King will try to kill me since i’ll fight for the right thing to be done. Soon everything i eat or drink comes with caution because of this hatred that he has for me and the plotting to kill me. Through a twist of fate the plot of death from the old king lead to his own death when the prince switched the kings plate with mine and took the battle to him. The instant that the old King dies there was a loud yell in the next room.
I look out the window where the fields had been and realize that was all a deception. The fields are now as there’s nothing but old ruined land, burnt and dead. The castle is revealed to be tattered and cobwebbed. And the loyal friends to the king are only skeletons of what was. They have no life and lie in shambles.
The dream switches now to some time later when the new King has taken the throne and there is a man walking through the streets with a document in each hand. The peace in the land and the joy on his face tell the whole story of the new life under the new King. The document in the left was the old law of the false king. The document on the right was the new law under the new King and the man in the street told of them both. The man told of the old law and the death, imprisonment, and constriction that “king” put them under. Then the man read the new law and told of the great life that it holds; the great newness of life that came with the Rightful King on the throne. The new life does not lead to the perfect life, full of comforts and happiness, but it does lead to joy and liberation.
Some of the people in the land didn’t believe the news and thought that it was only another trick of the old king but the man continued to joyfully tell of the true events that happened.
I hope this finds you all well.
Joshua
this Joy does not look like the world’s happiness.
