Read 2 Peter

  — God’s timing is PERFECT

  — He wants no one to perish, but everyone to come to Him

 

We are looking forward to a new heaven and new earth where “Death has no victory. Death has no sting.” (1 Cor 15:55-57)

 

So then “Let nothing move you. Stand firm and know that working for the Kingdom is not pointless.” (1 Cor 15:58)

 

— “It is for FREEDOM that Christ has set you free.” (Galations 5:1) There is strength in your freedom to say ‘I dont have to.’ and others will see that in you; from you. Others will see you choosing God’s Love instead of alcohol, instead of getting drunk or hooking up, or being depressed and stressed out.

 

— Our goal as Men is to Glorify God “Whatever you do, do it all for the Glory of God” 

       (1 Corinthians 10:31)

— Remain focused

     like an olympic athelete, focus on the prize, the goal, your crown

*The Prize?: to be in Heaven in the presence of the warming Son. So Live to bring that Kingdom about.

 

Weapons we can use in this battle — not physical (2 Corinthians 10:4)

 — Prayer for one another (Intercessory Prayer)

 — Presenting/ proclaming/ sharing/ the good new of the Gospel

 — Sacrificial Love 🙂 *~beautifully simple~*

 

1 — Self (getting out of your cot and standing up)

2 — Family (Those in the same tent with you: literal family, roommates, girlfriends, wives)

3 — Local Community (Other tents close by)

4 — Missions (Venturing out to neighboring camps. Whether in Boulder, CO or Ghana)

God saw us becoming like Christ before the beginning of time and said, ‘This is good. Lets make this happen.’ Because The world doesnt need your gifts, it needs Christ-likeness in you.
