Dear Fellow Lovers of Christ,
I hope this letter finds you well! It’s hard to believe that I graduated from college in May with an undergraduate degree in Aerospace Engineering. It’s been an amazing journey since, where I spent two life-changing months in Jinotepe, Nicaragua through an organization called Adventures In Missions. Through God’s blessing and support from a wonderful team, a church was planted and a youth center was started that has grown from 12 kids to now having 120-160 children under the age of 12, 25-40 youth, and 30-45 adults attending different services on a regular basis. During my time in Nicaragua with various poor and broken families, I realized that there are people all over the world that need God’s Perfect Love and someone willing to help.
Through the same organization, I have chosen to obey Gods call to go out, love others, and help whomever I come across. On July 1st, 2011, I’ll be leaving with a 50+ crew in small groups of 7 for Peru to begin the charge to move in 11 countries over 11 months. Comprised of Peru, Bolivia, Ecuador, two mystery countries in Eastern Europe, South Africa, Mozambique, Swaziland, Thailand, Cambodia, and Vietnam, this opportunity, called “The World Race�, is where people have discovered God’s power to change lives as they minister and serve around the world. I’ve never been so eager to be a part of anything more in my life than to have an adventure such as this with the purpose of serving as God works.
In order to help in building schools, bringing smiles to orphans, or giving hope to recovering addicts we need to raise an achievable $15,500, which will cover all flights, food/housing, and ministry supplies for the entire year. This is not a simple request for donations, but an opportunity to play a role in God’s great plan. God will raise this money and your prayer and/or financial support make you a part of the team venturing out to change the world.
