On Wednesday January 21st, our team had the incredible opportunity to travel into Myanmar for the day and visit some villages. Myanmar (Burma) is a country that has been in a state of civil war for over 60 years. Most of the villagers have never seen a foreigner before due to the fact that Burma has been a closed country until just a few years ago. Here are some photos from the first village we visited, the brick making village. Later in the day we went to another village and I will upload those at a later time. I hope you enjoy these pictures and please keep these people and this country in your prayers.

Preparing to cross the Friendship bridge from Thailand to Myanmar (Burma)

View from the bridge. The land on the right side is No Man’s Land.

The brick Village we spent half the day at.

Who would have thought that this loving, teddy bear-like man wasn’t a big fan of kids before the race. He is going to be an incredible father one day.

Making some concoctions from dirt and who knows what else under the hut.

We got to sing and lead worship for all of the kids inside of the village.

Zach had the amazing opportunity to share the Gospel message with all of the kids.

SO MANY BRICKS!!!
