“Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’…‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’
Matthew 25:34-36,40 (NIV)
This is the life I now live, feeding the hungry, clothing the naked, loving the unloved, giving the stranger a home, and bringing hope to the hopeless. I love the life I live and the person I am becoming. Each day brings a new set of adventures and an exciting uncertainty of what is to come. I am literally living out my deepest dreams. I say this not out of arrogance or to boast but rather to bring glory to the one who gave all of this to me. To bring glory to the one who gave me this incredible life to live and the opportunity to serve those around me.
Here is a video recap of a world racer named Joseph De Leon’s World Race through the words of Mother Teresa. In it you will get a small taste of what it means to serve the “least of these” and to answer the call that God has called us to live out everyday. While the faces, places, and experiences are a little different from my race, the overall theme is the same.

If this video speaks to your heart, if you are touched by it in anyway, if you are encouraged by the things that I am doing throughout the world, then PLEASE, please partner with me and become an essential part of my journey, which can be yours as well.
I have until January 1st to reach my final deadline and be fully funded. If I do not meet it then I will be sent home, unable to continue serving these people across the globe, unable to continue living out my dreams, the very dreams God has placed into my heart. I only need to raise $3,600 to meet my final deadline. If everyone who reads this donates something then I have an excellent chance of meeting that goal. Just remember that the same God who is doing incredible things through me, can do incredible things through you. I truly believe that by you giving and being apart of this journey I am on, that the fruit that will come from your actions will echo into eternity and will provide the world with the hope and goodness that it so desperately needs. Your support and prayers mean more to me than you could ever possibly imagine.
So, will you help me help the world? Will you help me serve the “least of these” all over the globe? Will you answer the call and do your part in further advancing the Kingdom of God on this earth as it is in heaven? I ask you to look into your heart and ask yourself what the right thing to do is. For the one who sows generously will also reap generously.
Thank you and God bless!
“Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each of you should give what you have decided in your hearts to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.”
2 Corinthians 9:6-8 (NIV)
“Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son.”
