I was doing a devotion last night and it made me stop and think how I was not relying on God with the mission trip. The devotion came out of Psalms 121:1 through 8 which basically say trust in the Lord with all things. Nothing is to small or big for Him no matter how big or how small it is. I always forget that God is always in control even if it same like He's not. It says in Philippians 4:13 " I can DO all things through Christ that strengthen me." That means that we need to trust Christ in all things and don't worry about anything because God has already plan it out which way we will be going in life. It is not our place to worry about nothing because He has already planned our life out. It is not our choice to go on this mission trip it is God that hand picked us. He laid it out in front of us and laid it on our heart to go. That is what is so awesome about Lord that he gave us the free choice sever him or not serve Him. He said to trust Him fully and not straddle the fence. He says you can't serve to masters. This made me to realize that God wants us to rely totally on Him and not ourselves. The Devil will try and throw wrenches into our plans that God has laid out for us. I am totally relying on God for the funds it is in His hands that everything is possible.
