Life for me has always been what i consider ideal. Small town, small school, good friends, and great family. We went to church every Sunday, played sports all year around, great home cooked dinners, riding bikes until dark, and building forts. You name it and we were doing it, and It was a blast! Life growing up was great, until the day my life was turned upside down, tossed around, and slammed back into the reality that on my brothers 20th birthday he and his fiance were killed by a train. This on its own was difficult, compounded by the fact it was my senior year in high school and only 6 days prior to my 18th birthday. During this time in my life i had a lot of ups and downs. I had great friends around all of time, wonderful family and the peace of knowing that the life he'd led, guaranteed his salvation.
Through the years of trying to find who i was, my trials, tribulations, and friends along the way i found myself back in church.
Now the time has come that i embark on a eleven month journey across eleven countries on a mission trip of a life time! I know this trip is going to be much different than anything i have ever experienced. I'm finally stepping out of this nutshell that i and so many people have lived in for years. I'm living my life for others, the oppressed, the orphans, the widows. The one's that we were created to help, not ourselves. Through Adventured in Missions (AIM) i have the unique opportunity, an opportunity that is not only live changing, but possibly life saving!
Some might wonder why I'm leaving everything i have; my dogs, my home, my family, my friends. There is so much more to this world than the meaningless routines, a nine to five life, and having everything i need at the touch of a finger. It's time i actually experience what God has in store for me, and what i can offer him.
James 1:27
Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.

John 3:16
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
