….Antigua, Guatemala.  We awoke at 4:30 am on Tuesday morning to a loud, ringing bell.  Packing as quickly as I could (it’s tougher in the dark, which is what you get in a room with no electricity), I met up with the rest of my team, got our Race Day destination, and we were off.  Get to the Higher Grounds coffee shop in Antigua, Guatemala before anyone other teams and win the race.  Simple enough.  And though I don’t have time to tell all the details of the trip, we did make it here first, winning the race and all the, uh, glory that comes with that.

We’ll be in Antigua until 4am Sunday morning when we board a bus for Managua, Nicaragua.  We’ll travel from Managua to Granada to meet up with our next ministry contact, stay in Granada for a few days, and then make our way to Ocotal, Nicaragua where we’ll doing our ministry for all of August.  Everyone is healthy and having a great time.  I’ll post again when we get to Nicaragua.

Adios!
