Arrived in D.C. Monday afternoon, after my flight left an hour late out of San Francisco. It's been really fun so far talking with everyone and getting ready for our first stop. They finally told us we leave on Friday. Monday night after I arrived we had some training for our treasurer position. Then they told us we had to go out and buy groceries for our entire team. But they gave us a couple limitations; first we could only spend $5.00 per person per day, and we only had 30 minutes to buy all our groceries. Our squad was the last one to go and half of everything at Safeway was already gone when it was our turn. We were running around the store trying to find the best deals. What made it even more difficult was that the rest or our teams weren't arriving til the next day and I had no idea what anyone likes or dislikes. They will just have to live with what I bought. Can't wait til I'm actually in a foreign country doing this, atleast my team will be able to shop with me.
