Hello fellow humans ! Once again, I am alive and well. You probably have not heard anything from me this past month because I was on a wi fi fast . It was a great time in which I was able to focus on community and the relationships hear. If you ever have been considering doing a wi fi fast , I would highly recommend it. I was able to put my full attention on ministry and Focus more on hearing Gods voice. It is good to stay engaged with your community and a wifi fast really helps .

Life here in Shell is wrapping up and my time here in Ecuador is coming to an end and I have decided to take some time to reflect back on my time here.Ecuador is an amazing country and the culture is so welcoming and friendly. The people here have a special place in my heart for years to come. My time here will affect me for years to come . Ecuador is similar to America yet completely different. There is many luxuries like hot water and running water and mostly paved roads in the city that I was privileged to enjoy, but the culture is so different. People will greet each other with a kiss on the cheek (male -female) and a handshake for male to male. I could not emphasis just how amazing the people are here. They have usually kind and welcoming and open to the idea of Jesus. I use that term loosely because most don’t have a relationship with Jesus. Most people are catholic or catholic mixed with other religions . They need Jesus here just as much as someone else does . There is such a need a real relationship with Jesus . Many have heard of Jesus , but don’t have a relationship with Christ.
Some of the foods include: corn, yucca, potatoes, rice, bananas, plantains( there is a difference between bananas ), mora( a berry), chicken, pork, cow, and lots of soup . Most Ecuadorians will have small breakfasts , large lunches, and small dinners. A typical lunch would include soup , rice and meat and salad and juice after your meal. The food was good and for the most part was not to strange.
God has been using this past couple of months in Ecuador to grow me in many ways. Their is pain in the growth and it is not easy, but it is well worth it. I have learned and continue to learn how to declare truth over my life and to walk the narrow path. I am learning how to live for Gods kingdom and the loosing of one that is required. I am a broken vessel of Christ , but I am made new through the blood of Christ. God uses broken people to do amazing things . I don’t have to be alone, in fact we were never created to be alone. I lay all that I am at the foot of the cross and pick up my cross and follow God in all I do, that is all I can do. I could go in forever about the many lessons God has been teaching me and has thought me over this last 3 mouths . God is growing me into the man he wants me to be in more ways than I realize. In the end, I am learning to live for the kingdom of God and not this world. I have much to learn but have come so far in the past 3 months.

Ecuador is amazing and God has grown me so much. I am not the some man I was 3 months ago and am growing closer to Christ .weather it was all squad month in Quito or working at the orphanage here in Shell , God has grown me in many ways. I want to challenge you all to allow God to speak truth into your life and grow and change you , it will be worth your time. I appreciate all the prayer and support . God bless .
