My name is Joshua Han Cooper! I am 26 years old born on April 29, 1989 in South Korea. My hometown is in Augusta, GA where I currently attend college. I have been all over the world serving God as a missionary and as a soldier in the Army. My hobbies are writing poetry, fishing, and taking photography. I have been looking for a way to meet people around my community to serve for God’s purpose.

Some of the places I have been to are;

France, Ireland, Czech Republic, Ukraine, Italy, Austria, Germany, Mexico, Japan, South Korea, Nicaragua, Peru, and Israel.

My favorite place is a tie between Israel and Italy.

My personality type is a primary INFP/ and secondary ESFP .. Did you know we have two main personalities we switch between?

I have one younger brother named John, he is currently 23 years old. My mother is Korean and my father is American. I want to one day go to the mission field here in the states or overseas and serve with my whole family.

 Here is my Support Letter!!!

Dear Friends,

        For the past few years I’ve been serving in the United States Army. As a soldier, I have had an incredible amount of challenges that helped me grow into a better man. I learn to trust in God with my whole life while serving overseas. As I began to pray for a chance to go around the world, God has been training and preparing me for his mission and I have accepted the calling to go! With a deep passion to serve and care for orphans, it was time for me to go. I have been to Peru and Nicaragua and seen how powerful God’s work has been through his faithfulness for people. With each trip, I’ve found God continuing to show me how broken the world is and how much people need to experience him.
       After my trip to Israel, I sense the Lord asking me to trust him for a longer period of time. I left the military and focus on becoming a servant for God. Then one day, I was encouraged to watch a video about the World Race. After learning more about the organization and the mission’s program, I felt that God was calling me to serve with Adventure in Missions and chose a route on The World Race.
The World Race is an 11-month Christian mission trip to 11 countries around the world. One of the unique things about the World Race is that it’s not only a mission trip but also an intensive discipleship program designed to launch my generation into our specific kingdom calling. Through the World Race, my team and I will serve in partnership with churches and ministries in local communities to preach the Gospel, plant churches, work in orphanages, minister to women and children trapped in prostitution as a result of human trafficking, and bring the restorative hope of the Father’s love to many tribes and nations.
       I will face many challenges all throughout the World Race, but as I prepare for my departure, one of my greatest challenges is my financial support. Like most other missions organizations, World Race participants are required to fundraise financial support. In order to leave fully funded on 4/30/2016, I need to raise $17,562. This money will cover all of my field expenses for the 11 months of the trip. As I take this large step of faith in trusting the Lord, would you prayerfully consider supporting me monthly or with any generous amount? You can also visit my blog at

If you can only give one penny God will use it! If you can only give one dollar God will change lives! If you can only give 11 dollars 11 countries will be hearing the Gospel of Truth, Salvation, and Grace! Please send me and please pray for missionaries!!! Thank you!
