Josh:
Love music. Play drums. Kind of a nerd. Love to read. Drink of choice: Mountain Dew! Love to travel, expirence new things, meet new people. Kind of a perfectionist. Love God's Word, His love and learning as much as I can about Him. Love my wife, she's really awesome and beautiful.
Jen:
Cat person. Love the color green. Sandals are my shoe of choice. Can sleep anywhere, any time. I love sweet tea. Tom Petty is the best. Love to read. Five feet tall. Like to sing. I tell long stories. Love my family. Have a wonderful husband. Every wonderful blessing I have in my life is a gift from my awesome Creator. He's pretty cool.
Together:
We met in 2006 (Jen's freshman year and Josh's junior year of college) at the weekly worship service for the Baptist Student Union, and we also went to church together. We both went to Ukraine with a group from the BSU, where we got to know each other, over shared music and long plane rides. Upon our return to the states, we realized that it was too hard to be apart, and began dating in February of 2008. Over the summer of 2008, our relationship grew as we learned to be apart while Josh worked at a summer camp. We fell in love and realized that our individual halves were better as one whole, and decided to one day get married. Josh proposed to Jen at the end of January of 2009, and we were married in a simple, outdoor wedding June 19th of 2009. Since then, we have continued to grow as a couple. We both have a passion for missions, and desire to see the love of Christ brought to the nations. We look forward to the journey ahead of us.
