Albania

  1. Albania has the second highest sex selective abortion in the world, between India and China.
  2. Significant portions of the population in Albania’s Mountainous Region are stunted due to malnutrition.
  3. Albania is one of the most corrupt countries in the world.  It is tied at 113 out of 176 with Ethiopia, Guatemala, and Niger on the corruption index.

                                            Turkey

  1. The population of Turkey is estimated to be 70 million of which 98% are reported to be Muslim. The other 2% of people mainly belong to the religions of Christianity and Judaism.
  2. Turkey’s most pressing environmental need is for water treatment plants.
  3. Turkey is considered the largest unreached people group in the world.

                                   Bulgaria

  1. For more than 40 years the Bulgarian government promoted atheism, to which an estimated 65% of the population subscribed in the early 1980’s.
  2. Bulgaria was dominated by the Communist Party from 1946-1990.
  3. Bulgaria has the highest concentrations of the two major varieties of particulate matter, which are tiny airborne droplets or gas particles that come from smokestacks, vehicle tailpipes or a variety of other sources. They can lead to health problems from asthma to cancer. Bulgaria also has the highest concentrations of carbon monoxide and sulfur dioxide, according to the report by the European Environment Agency.

                         Romania

  1. Floods in Romania also became frequent and abundant, taking many lives, affecting over 1500 settlements, and causing thousands evacuations.
  2. About 40% of the people in Romania are Gypsies, and the people of Romania consider Gypsies to be outcasts and are looked down on.
  3. Over 3,200 children went missing in Romania over the past year, a number which represents a tenfold rise compared to half a decade ago.

     South Africa

  2. By the turn of the century it is estimated that the demand will exceed the natural supply.
  3. In a study of women abused by their spouses, 69% identified alcohol/drug abuse as the main cause of conflict leading to the abuse.

                            Swaziland

  1. Swaziland has a 26% infection rate of HIV.
  2. The life expectancy is 32 years old.
  3. Over 3,000 boreholes have been drilled since 1986, but over 40% have no access to clean water and about 90% of the community water projects are not functioning.

                        Botswana

  1. Botswana has the highest infection rate for Aids at 37.5%.
  2. 11% of children die before the age of 5 due to starvation.
  3. 85% of the population have indigenous religious beliefs and the other 15% are Christian.

                               India

  1. 32.7% of all people in India fall below the national poverty line of US$1.25/day.
  2. 2-2.5 million people of India are diagnosed with Tuberculosis.
  3. Hinduism makes up 80% of religion in India, Muslim takes up 14%, and Christianity only 2%.  Primarily because they are a very unreached nation.

                             Nepal

  1. 97.4% of the population are unreached (never heard the story about Jesus Christ).
  2. 2.1 million out of an estimated 30 million people are stateless due to a citizenship provision in their long awaited constitution.
  3. Over 30 per cent of Nepalese live on less than US$14 per person, per month.

Mongolia

  1. Most sparsely populated country in the world.
  2. Only 1.7% of the population are Christian, and 80% are unreached.
  3. 30% of the population is poverty stricken.

China

  1. China’s “one child” policy has contributed to female infanticide and has created a significant gender imbalance.  There are currently 32 million more boys than girls in China.
  2. 82.7% of people groups in China have never heard the message of Christ.
  3. In 2012 there were more than 50,000 environmental protests.
