MEET MY FAMILY!!
In training camp this week we were placed into our teams, with a very intricate and loving process. Our teams are the people who we will be living and ministering with the whole 11 months (ideally). So I'd love to introduce to you my AMAZING, POWERFUL team.

Team Leader: Jordan Gillespie
Jordan is incredible, as most Jorda(y)ns tend to be I suppose. Our team calls her "Quiet Storm". She is not your stereotypical leader, she is something even better : A Jesus-like leader. She is very gentle, soft, and her words are powerful and full of wisdom. Her connection with God is amazing. Jordan is the epitome of a servant. Thus, she is our powerful leader. We trust, love, and respect Jordan so much already, and she loves us immensely. I can not wait to be led by her this year.
Kate Goeler
​I feel like I've known Kate my entire life already. She is full of strength, boldness and courage. She would be the first one to jump into a freezing cold lake or do the worm across a dance floor, oh wait that already happened. She makes me feel alive. She will challenge and push this team into amazing places physically and emotionally- I can not wait to see where those places are. She comes from a Jewish culture, thus giving us our team name. I'm hoping she will honor me with her "Jew card" by the end of the year.

Michelle McClellan
Michelle and I had an instant connection from the moment we saw each other at the airport. I suppose you could call it chick-love at first sight. I feel right at home with her, as everyone else does. Michelle has an incredible heart and has the ability to feel such deep feelings, not only from within herself but from within others. She will strengthen this team and the world with her love and compassion.
Cheyenne Thornton
Cheyenne has an amazing sense of humor. She has this joy about her that is incredibly contagious.I feel it just by standing next to her .Her love is very accepting and makes you feel very comfortable in a situation- like if you were to accidently shoot a booger out of your nose and onto your shirt or something. But don't be fooled, this girl is deep ,passionate, understanding ,and brings about the potential for so much growth for our team.
Team Treasurer :Danielle Foucher
​Danielle is so incredibly well rounded. One night she seranaded me on her guitar, one day we shared an interest in a werid lookin' bug , and the next day she was astounding me with her crazy soccer skills. Which means I can totally justify bringing a soccer ball on the race now =). I can't wait to see what other skills pop up in her this next year.She is very creative and adds a whole new perspective to our team. She will open up our minds in incredible ways.
Jeanette Minor
I'm so glad Jeanette is on our team. When I look at her I can almost swear she is glowing. She is older then the rest of us but blends right in. She has so much wisdom and is very deep and compassionate. Her life experience will contribute so much to our team. She has sacrificed so much to be doing the word race and shows so much willingness and commitment. I cant wait to hear what she has to say and to learn fr​om her.
We are united – We are passionate – We are hilarious– We are strong -We are powerful -We are accepting -We are committed – We are ready to fight for each other – We are ready to be broken – We are ready to go deeper – We are ready to grow– We are ready to love – We are ready for conflict– We are ready for change–

Squad Leaders are people who have done the world race before who help and guide our squad and individual teams.
I first saw Dura in the airport, and from the first time I heard her say "rad" I knew it was meant to be. Dura has passion and love pouring out of her. I wish I could follow her around all day, she has an amazing presence about her. She is perfect for this squad, and especially for me. I am so excited for all the things I will learn for her and all the way she will help me grow.
Matt is an hilarious, chill guy. He wasn't our squad leader at first but when I was first saw him in his awesome pants I kinda wished he was. Later that week we were blessed to find out that he would be one of our Squad Leaders.
Elizabeth wasn't at training camp because she is out into the nations. But from what I heard she is incredible and I can not to get to know her!

The most incredible people I have ever met in my entire life. Filled with power, love , grace, strength, and wisdom. I've never experienced such a raw community like this. These amazing woman and men of God are going to do some CRAZY things, so keep you eyes open.
