I’m getting closer to my departure, so I figured it was time to start getting all the gear I’ll need for my journey. After consulting with my uncle, Rob, I took his advice and started shopping around for the best deals and products. Little did I know that God had this taken care of from the start. Rob had mentioned that a friend and elder from his church, Chris, is the co-owner of a local outdoors shop, here in Nashville, and that he could ask him about their selection of gear, because I wasn’t finding exactly what I was wanting in other retailers. Low and behold, I get a call from Rob who proceeds to tell me that Chris took interest in what I was doing, and wanted to donate a pack for my trip. I went in today, and not only got the perfect fitting pack, but all of the other gear I am going to need for my journey. In addition to giving me the pack free of cost, he also gave me 25% off of my total! God works in very deliberate ways through his children…that is becoming more and more obvious to me each day I am alive.
So I just want to give a HUGE shout out and thank you to Chris, Mark, and David at Cumberland Transit for their generosity and help with this crucial part of my journey.
