As I am getting ready for my day, I am thinking over the messages I heard at church yesterday and thinking of how I am to apply them to my life. My youth pastor preached an amazing sermon, and the one question that is suck in my head is, “Why do you go to church?”

Why do I go to Church?

When I first heard that question, I felt my “religious” answer come to the surface before I could fully think through the question to retrieve my true answer. I have grown up in church so I know right answer should God, and most of the time I do walk in the church wanting to see God move. BUT if i am being honest, sometimes I have gone to church because it’s what I was suppose to do or to see all my friends.

The Reason

With Easter next Sunday, it’s important to know what Christ would have been going through this week. The suffering He endured for us. It’s a very humbling thought, and a great motivation for all of us to find out exactly why we go to church. If we are going for the right reason, we will start reaching out to others around us. The souls of men are eternal.
