The Lord has blessed team INCREASE with an abundance of talent when it comes to music. We have a guitar player, a bass player, a piano player, a drummer, and a couple singers. What more could we ask for? Naturally, we have this desire to play as a “band” in at least one country we go to.

The favor of the Lord has already made that desire come into a reality. The pastor knew we were musically stacked as a team, and another pastor had sound equipment with instruments he would rent us. They wanted us to put on a worship service our last night in town. So we did! We had an hour practice, and then let God take over and we WORSHIPPED! We didn’t have the best quality of instruments, but they do not joke when it comes to SPEAKERS. We had 8 huge speakers that bumped SO loud, I’m sure we could be heard all over the mountain! It was an awesome experience!

After we played our worship set, men in the community came together and played some of their worship songs. The people in La Cama are very talented in music, but they rarely get to play because they cannot afford instruments. Since we rented the equipment for the night, they were able to be blessed and play instruments they usually aren’t able to play. They sounded awesome and you could see how much of a blessing it was for them.

I noticed one young boy who was worshipping when the men were playing, and it gripped my heart. He was off to the side, but at the very front of the service. There was such a sincere look of worship on his face. He did not look like a kid; it was like I was watching a grown mature man of God. There were tears on his face, and he was not just regurgitating the lyrics to the worship songs. This kid was praying with intensity long after the music stopped. IT WAS AWESOME!
