As I lay in my tent I am just in awe of what God has done today….
We arrived in La Cama this afternoon only to be welcomed by Pastor Manuel and 72 members of his church. As we unloaded our packs, we expected to find a spot on the ground and pitch our tent. BUT, the pastor’s family moved EVERYTHING out of their house so we could set up our tents inside! UNBELIEVABLE! I teared up so fast! This family is sacrificing their house for 26 days, to host us.
The church here is a strong group of believers, but they are struggling to get a church built. They are a very poor community of farmers that give all they have to help build this church, but it has taken them three years to do hardly anything visible. We are here the next 26 days to really put our heart and soul into this building project. We want to be their SECOND WIND that really helps them get a facility. By ministering physically, we are going to be given the opportunity to minister spiritually!
As a team we have been praying and talking and we really feel that there will be many physical healings this month. This theme has already been coming up over and over again. I will update you when this one boy, who is blind in one eye IS healed, and when this blind elderly lady IS given new eyesight! We are bringing the fire. Get ready La Cama!!
As the night was winding down we invited the pastors family (Pastor and Wife;1 daughter; 4 sons) to come worship and pray with us. GOD SHOWED UP AND ROCKED US! We sang some praise and worship, then the gift of prophecy began flowing in the room! And let me just tell you their daughter is going to touch nations! I wish I could put to words what happened, but God is about to take this family to such an INCREASE.
