- Favorite color is green
- I have 3 younger brothers. We all have the same initials, J.J.
- My brothers and I all play for the same baseball team over the summer.
- I’m a big sports fan. College, professional…. Whatever happens to be on tv.
- Baseball is my favorite sport. I’ve been playing every summer for the past 20 years or so. Also like basketball, softball, football, ping pong, and golf.
- Big Minnesota Twins, Vikings, and Timberwolves fan!
- I grew up on a dairy farm. Had lots of cows, cats, and a dog.
- Dairy and crop farming is the only kind of jobs I’ve ever known.
- Get up most days at 4:30 to milk cows (its not as fun as it might sound).
- Love sitting in the tractor with the radio on.
- I’m from Kerkhoven, MN, population 700. I love small towns and living in the country.
- Have a bad habit of biting my fingernails. Feel free to help me stop.
- Very much an introvert.
- Don’t like being the center of attention.
- Working at a bible camp this summer. This will be a challenging new experience for me. Very excited about it.
- I love fishing. Taken several fishing trips to Manitoba and Ontario, Canada.
- Spent about 6 months in Costa Rica in the last two years as a short-term missionary. Also spent 2 weeks in Panama on a short mission trip.
- Learned to live on rice, beans, and bananas in Costa Rica. Pretty much every meal consisted of some form these three foods
- Lived with two different Tico (costa rican) families.
- I don’t like chocolate. Especially cake, milk, and dark chocolate.
- Can’t stand the taste or smell of coffee.
- Worked with people from Ukraine and Moldova. Very excited to be going to these countries.
- Wow. Only #21.
- Not a fan of facebook except for the fact that it helps me get to know my teammates.
- Going to a wedding for a friend in Alabama this summer. Road trip anybody?
- Usually a man of few words. Maybe that’s why it’s so hard to come up with 50?

- Don’t like reading except for the Bible.
- Never heard of hunger games until like a week ago. Never had anything to do with those Twilight movies or Harry Potter
- Like to sing.
- Try to play a little guitar and piano.
- Member of a Covenant Church.
- I’ve been a youth mentor through the YMCA for a young boy the last 5 years.
- Would like to go white water rafting. Bungee jumping or skydiving might be fun also.
- Love camping
- Most comfortable in jeans and a t-shirt
- Never broke a bone.
- Never had a cavity.
- Don’t like the fundraising part of being a missionary
- Like to eat meat. Mostly steak, pork, and chicken.
- Really like raisin bran crunch for breakfast.
- Never would have pictured myself doing anything like the World Race a few years ago.
- Dr. Pepper is my favorite! .
- Looking forward to traveling around the world.
