I just got back from a Navigators conference in Estes Park and the theme was One Life. Here a little something I wrote today while reflecing on my weekend. Enjoy:)
One life was all he had here on earth.
But every breath he breathed
And every step he took
Were for the glory of His father.
One life is all we have as well.
One life to do as we please,
One life to chase after the things we think will fill us up?
One life to show the world who we are and make a name for ourselves?
That’s what we all want right?
Because do we really want someone to have authority over every aspect of our lives?
Do we really need a master?
I don’t know about you but in my life I do.
Because sometimes life gets scary
Sometimes things happen that are far beyond my control.
So with my one life I want to live like Jesus did.
Walking, breathing and living only by the will of God.
Because, when I lose my way and am scared to go any further
I will cry “Abba” Father, Daddy
Use my ONE LIFE just as you used His.
