Hey Everyone,

My name is Jordan Drake. I am a twenty-three year old Christian and the son of Ken and Cathy  Drake. I was born and raised in Southern California and grew up in a Christian household. I accepted Christ as my savior while I was in middle school and have led a life of spiritual undulation ever since. I transferred from a large public school to a small Christian school (Oaks Christian High School) before the start of my junior year. I still believe that was the best decision of my life. The Lord truly blessed me with an incredible group of friends and a number of Christian mentors that I still reach out to for guidance.  I continued my education at Pepperdine University, where I studied Accounting and International Business. In an attempt to break the ethnocentric bubble that I had created over Southern California, I elected to study abroad for a year in Argentina. Even though I was in a different part of the world, I could still feel the presence of the Lord; it is reassuring to know we serve an omnipresent God. Upon graduation from Pepperdine, I began working for PricewaterhouseCoopers, a large international accounting firm. Although I greatly appreciate the relationships that I have built and the opportunity to work with such a prestigious firm, I did not feel as though I was answering my calling from the Lord. So, in an effort to pursue our Lord and answer His call, I have elected to join the team of the January 2010 World Race.

*My parents mean the world to me and I love them so much. When I look into the reflection of their love, I see the man God intended me to be.
