We just finished up ministry in Kenya, and now I am in Tanzania!!!!! As for last month’s ministry in Kenya went well. It consisted of visiting high schools, working with churches, praying for patients, working with children, painting for a church, ministering at a prison, and working with Love and Mercy, (and organization),.
Love and Mercy is a really cool organization that has a great ministry going on. They have a huge farm that provides jobs for people and food. They also help sponsor over 70 orphanages and 5 to 8 of them are specifically Love and Mercy’s! So one day with them we got to work on a farm and plant peperment! Next, we got to visit an all girls orphanage and got to play with those children! It was an awesome experience! God really blessed the ministry that was done!
Now we are on to Tanzania and boy did it take a long time to get here! So after leaving Kitale, Kenya we went on a bus ride to Nirobi, Kenya that last 7 hr. The next day we traveled to Dar Es Salam for 18hr!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We left a 7:30 a.m. and arrived at 2:30 a.m. Wow! You think we stopped!! Of course not!!! Next, we rested at a hotel for 3hr. only to go to a bus station at 5:00a.m. When we got to the bus station we looked for snaks and loaded the bus. We sat on the bus for about 2h before we left! Finally, we got moving for another 8hr. bus ride!! We have had quite a last few days of traveling!!!!!
However, even though the traveling was long it was still a cool experience! Seeing the country side of Africa is an amazing thing!!! I’ve gotten to see giraffees, zebras, camels, and elephants, all in their natral homes! God’s creation is so amazing! Iringa, Tanzania is the most beautiful town I have seen so far! I love it!
I am very excited about the work that God is going to do here in Iringa! Already when we first got in the Pastor told us we would be doing pretty much a 10h church service day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How on God’s green earth am I going to be in church that long!!!!!!!!!! That’s crazy!! Oh well! I pray that God will do a great work this month and I’m truly looking forward to how he is going to move!!!!
