Hi everyone. I just want to write a note thanking every person who has encouraged me and stood behind me on this mission trip. I want everyone to know that I will be leaving July of this year. Also, please check out this group that I found: www.drawbridge.org. It’s an arts program for homeless kids, where they are encouraged to tell their story through paintings and pictures. It is an organization that exists to help kids who were forced to grow up too quickly, and it helps them find joy in childhood that they never knew. Some of the examples of the work that I saw were very haunting and powerful. It’s one of the best ideas I’ve ever seen, and i would love to see it spread to other parts of the country.
