Sometimes trusting God feels like jumping off a bridge that’s 500 feet off the ground. Standing on the bridge looking down can be horrifying; just like some of the things God calls us to do can be scary and completely out of our comfort zone. Making yourself jump off a bridge goes against all safety mechanisms your brain has and your innate logic, just like God can lead us to places that defy logic. But after you jump, you realize just why God called you there. What He has in store for you is so much greater than the fear or uncertainty. He is calling you into a life of abundant love and fulfillment! 2 Timothy 1:7 says “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.”
