Wow!!!
So the race has begun, we are still waiting in Matamoros for a bus… a lot of other forms of transportation didnt work out… like Dads personal jet, it was in the hanger for a new paint job. I havent been able to get to a computer in the last week and will probably not be able to get to one in the next little while so here it goes.
Training in Northern Mexico has been phenomenal! God has totally been binding our team together. We really felt that we needed to start this trip on the right foot and with God at the centre; we didnt just want to do our own thing and leave Him out of it. After a LONG day of fasting and praying yesterday we were not that much more decided on how our little new family would race down to Southern Mexico (a town called Palenque) but we had spent loads of time with the Lord and what bad does that do!
So now the race has begun, the bus tickets ahve been purchased and the HEAT IS ON!! The first team to arrive in Palenque and take a picture on top of the main Plaza Temple with another temple in the background wins… bu thats not all. We must also pray for three people along the way with pictures, also post a blog about one of the people we prayed about, eat at a taco stand and all without travelling between 10pm and 6am (if we did it would be a double time penalty, unless it’s on a bus)
My next blog is going to be about on lady we met here in Matamoros, Rose.
Stay classy, planet earth.
