Im still in Ireland at the moment and it feels like Ive been here for a year, which isnt a bad thing, but we leave for Kenya in the morning and the thought of being in Africa longer than Ive been on the race at this point is a bit overwhelming, and also very exciting especially in the light of this past week.  Ill get to that soon enough.

To fully wrap up our time in Ireland would be a book full of very good things, so Ill do my best to summarize.  We continued working with Discovery Church in Galway and the more we worked with them the more I felt they were blessing us instead of the other way around.  The good thing about this is that both relationships just fed each other.  As much as we worked to encourage and serve the people of the church, it just turned around and came back to us as blessings; from being fed very good home cooked food to being taken to climb Croagh Patrick, we were blessed. We continued doing street ministry, working with the youth, and going to do some work on peoples houses in the church.  Talking with people on the streets pushed me allot but I think it was one of my favorite things that we did.  I learned so much about stepping out in faith and sharing the love of Christ with others.  Paudrig, a guy in the chruch, along with Ken both taught us allot about doing street evangelism and then came out with us and walked it out with several of us as we broke up into smaller groups.  Check out www.faithireland.com,  Paudrigs webpage. super awesome.

We finished up our ministry there a few days ago and really did experience the connection of the family of Christ as we departed, because there were many tears involved.  Gods people, mine and your brothers and sisters dont only exist around were you are, but are all about the entire world and many of them need prayer and encouragement, a truly great thing to experience.  We came to Dublin for a conference that AIM puts on called The Awakening.  I wish I could put words to what happend this past week during the awakening.  So many people experienced God in a way they never have before.  There was deliverance, freedom, growth, and so so many more things that people God did to build his people here.  It was perfect timing because now our entire squad has grown together to really be a true family.  No joke, the morning of the Aug 3rd, I could hardly say we were close as a squad, but by that night God pulled the string tight and everything came together in a way that not one person would hesitate to say that God did very awesome things in us all.

One of the major things that did happen was that we were all put on new teams.  This is a big change for allot of people but I truly believe that it was necessary for the interest of each person to grow into more of who they are in Christ.  Im excited about my new team which consist of:

Andrea Gosselin (team leader)
Jennifer Meile
Rachelle Urbine
Jessica Sims
Jeremiah Reynolds
Nathan Salley

and we leave for Busia Kenya Tomorrow (Monday) morning.
Im super pumped.  Please be praying over our new teams and the things that God is continuing to do in our squad and our first month of ministry in Africa
