I'd like to introduce you to the one and only… Team Arise&Go:
Steven aka “La Bufa”
This guy is a beast. Standing 6’3, 275lbs and a hardcore Rugby player. The best thing is his heart is bigger than his body mass. He is never afraid to share his love for God and people. His best friend is a black boxador named Dooley. I can tell you there will never be a dull moment with La Bufa around.
She is so considerate and will be the first to offer you the jacket off her back (literally).
She saved me quite a few times and was actually the person I sat next to on the bus, the first day, on the way to training camp. Who knew we would end up on the same team?
Alyssa & Jeffery Peck
Alyssa
This girl has the most incredibly ridiculous servant’s heart. I would imagine she is always the first to arrive and last to leave any project. She is an adoring wife (of Jeffrey). She knows just what a heart needs to hear and when/how to say it. Saying I am ecstatic to be doing life with her next year would be an understatement.
Fantastic worship leader! And not just because he can sing and play the guitar. He lives out his conversations, his actions and his talents as a form of worship. Super Creative.
Loving husband, (of Alyssa). Drops the heat without warning.
Coming to us all the way from Sittensen, Germany, Jan stands in at a towering 6'5.
Not only does he speak 4 different languages and probably knows 2/3 of the encyclopedia
but he possesses such a joy and quiet strength that will be so appreciated on this team.
Mindy
Currently located in Pennsylvania. Don’t let the sweet face fool you. Mindy is hardcore.
I’m pretty sure she parachuted into Training Camp (I didn’t actually see it, but I heard rumors and thought I saw the helicopter) This girl goes cave diving just because it’s a nice Tuesday afternoon. I am so excited to have her spirit of adventure on our team! She also has 3 three degrees (*cough* over-achiever *cough*) and is officially our Team Treasurer.
World Race has asked me to accept the position of Team Leader for Team Arise&Go!!!
Of course I happily accepted!
I am beyond excited to have the opportunity
to learn and grow from these six incredible individuals.
Each of them possesses the strengths and gifts that will compliment another's weakness.
Each has the desire to become the woman or man of God they were created to be.
Each has the heart to change and the passion to pursue it.
I am honored to lead this team through what will be the most challenging year of our lives.
I ask that you all continue to cover our team in your prayers.
Pray for unity.

Pray for communiction.
Pray for divine appointments.
