First and Foremost, Our LORD Jesus Christ is AMAZING!!!!!!! 

What an interesting month… As I stated in my previous blog, Surrender, my relationship with the LORD has grown and I love it!!! I just want to become one with Him and continue to surrender everything to Him! He is so good to us!!!
    
So, as for Byron Bay. It is beautiful! The landscape, the ocean, the beach, the waves, the sunsets, the sunrises, everything! However, Byron is a dark place… It needs prayer. Fierce prayers, bold prayers, prayers of deliverance, freedom and truth! I didn’t realize how dark and heavy Byron was until the day we left and drove into the city of Coolangatta. The moment we arrived, so much weight was lifted right off of me… I felt as if a person literally jumped off my back, I sat straight up, I finally took a deep breath and Coolangatta seemed like someone turned a light on over the city… I’ve never experienced anything like it before… As I talked with a few squad mates, every one of them said the same thing… Come to find out, Byron Bay is ran by a witch doctor… The moment I learned of this, everything began to make sense and for the sake of keeping this blog short, I will not go into detail, but feel free to email me or ask me any questions!… 

So it’s the first day our squad arrives in Byron… We haven’t had much sleep, it was extremely hot, our camp was a couple miles out of town and we were all exhausted from traveling…  As we are walking into town a lady comes out of her house and starts handing us ice cold drinks for free! It was as awesome! God showing us that He will provide for us and that He is with us!!! What we didn’t realize was that the moment cross the tracks and enter the town, there is a snake waiting for us that is bowed up and hissing at us… Later on that night as everyone is going to bed, one of the guys on the team comes to me basically freaking out… He said he was laying there listening to his favorite worship song and as soon as he closed his eyes all he could see were demons everywhere… As he is telling me this, his hands are shaking and he can barely breathe… So, we start praying in the name of JESUS CHRIST and we get up and pray over every single tent and claim the entire grounds for God’s kingdom… A few days later when one of the teams were having one of their 24hour prayer sessions, people kept saying that “she is going to get you” and at the time none of us knew what they were talking about… Then we learn nowhere in the entire city can you find a bible for sale, from what people said, it’s prohibited to sell a bible in the city… It’s crazy to look back at everything and see the spiritual warfare that is taking place in Byron Bay… I look back at it now and it makes sense. The moment we arrived, an all out spiritual war broke out between the Victorious Angels and Satan’s demons… It was literally taking place right on my back… And the greatest news is, we all know who wins!!!!!!!!!!!!

So, please keep Byron Bay in your prayers! There is an incredible YWAM team there that continually pours everything they have into the community as well as East Gate Church who completely opened their doors and facilities to 31 of us racers! They all are amazing and again they need our prayers!!!
