We were asked to write a blog about how we felt before leaving on this mission trip. Here is what I’m expecting…
- To share the love and word of our Savior Jesus Christ
- To lead others to Christ
- To see miracles of God
- To be completely broken and cleansed for God
- To be molded into the man God wants me to be
- To seek the Lord more and more every day
- To completely surrender my life to Jesus Christ
- To serve and encourage others
- To make a difference in people’s life through Jesus
- To never want to leave each country we go to
- To want to return and open up a church, orphanage or safe house
- To want to save and help everyone we minister to
- To spend time in Gods word
- To do things that I wouldn’t normally do
- To be challenged beyond all my capabilities so that there is nothing left but to absolutely rely on Jesus
- To have an experience of a lifetime
- To feel more alive than I have ever felt before
- To grow in faith
- To expect the unexpected
- To meet new people and experience new cultures
- To miss the comforts of home
- To miss my family and friends
- And to be forever changed
