Always try to see the best in people.
Be hopeful. Be real. Be alive.
Be a giver of grace. Speak life. Make disciples.

I met a man yesterday. He was ninety four. He was wearing a white hat with the words

“World War II”

printed on the front.

I felt like I was looking at someone who shouldn’t be standing here. He was a true testimony to the value of life and the pursuit of happiness. World War II was such a long time ago.personally, I felt like I was looking at a miracle. Get this, he served under Patton. He fought in the Battle of The Bulge.

I couldn’t believe this guy was standing their in front of me,

smiling with joy in
his bright blue eyes that sparkled like the sea.
I thought of my own eyes,
like a cold Forest in the rain blending shades of hazel and green,
My eyes that very critically judge me.
I was amazed
because the fights and battle I face or have faced
seem so small in comparison to the life of this man.

i wish you could have met him.

i wish you could have seen the love his family had for him.

ive never seen such honor.

I can’t complain about a thing.
I am infinitely blessed.

my hope and joy is abounding!

With God on my side I can joyfully stand and face any test.

Praise Jesus forever. Amen.
