Friends, Family, and Supporters,

First off, thank you to everyone who has donated to me and supported me not only financially, but in prayer and by reading my blogs. I love being able to update you on all the great work the Lord is doing in these countries.

If I’m being honest, the hardest part of all of this, has been, and is asking for money. It’s part of being a missionary and the part I was dreading the most. It has been an absolute blessing to see how God shows up just when you need Him to and how he proves in times of need. I’m closing in on the finish line of being fully funded. I am currently at $14,345. I have been given a new deadline of $15,100 by the end of this month and I need to have the full amount of $16,617 by August 31st. I have no doubt God will provide but I wanted to give you all an update.

For the remaining amount I wanted to do something fun and have a way to track it. Introducing the Mullet Fundraiser with built in Mullet Meter. For those of you who don’t know what a mullet is, it is a WAY outdated hairstyle which is short on the front and sides and long in the back, see below.

To summarize, if I raise $1,776 by August 31st, that will put me right  my goal and I will get this haircut and post pictures. The goal is $1,776 because that is the date of American independence and what’s more American than a mullet?! I will count my last 2 recent donations toward this goal so that’s puts me at $70 with $1706 to go to reach this goal.

Donations can be made on my homepage at johnhopkins.theworldrace.org, or by check by making checks payable to Adventures in Missions and send to: Adventures in Missions, PO BOX 742570, Atlanta, GA 30374-2570 and just include my name in the memo.

Thank you so much for considering partnering with me financially as I continue my mission trip, this money will help me with food, lodging, and transportation as my team and I continue. We currently live on about $12-$13 per day for everything. Any amount you are able to give is a HUGE help so thank you. If you have any questions for me feel free to message me at [email protected]
