Some of you might remember Jamie and Fran, the young married couple that opened their homes to fit about 40 M Squaders everywhere in Brisbane, Aus. for a couple of days (Jan 31 blog). Me and some other got the privilege to really spend some awesome time with those two as they showed us around the area for a whole day. At night when our squad was having a time of worship and prayer, Billy spoke up and said that Jamie and Fran have been trying to have a baby for years, and it’s never happened. They are such wonderful people and would make unbelievable parents. Our squad gathered around those two, laid hands on them, and we all prayed out loud at once in complete boldness of faith that God would give them a child.
Fastforward a month now to our Squad debrief here in the Philippines and during our worship services Jesse, my teammate, came up to tell us something. She reminded us about Jamie and Fran and how we prayed for them about having a baby. Jesse then said, “She’s pregnant!!” The whole squad just burst out in celebration! Come to find out, the moment of actual conception was two weeks from the day that we prayed over them! How amazing God is, and how incredible he can do things when we pray in faith! For years they had been trying for a child and nothing ever happened. Then out of the blue a bunch of people they’ve never met gather around them and pray in Spirit, faith, and in the name of Christ and God delivered! Could it be that God used this to reveal His glory? I am just happy to be a part of God’s incredible, supernatural work as we all are. It’s a privilege, not a right, as a believer to be a part of kingdom business here on earth! This miracle has just uplifted our squad and opened our eyes even more to the real power of prayer when we make sure we do it in faith, nothing is impossible! After a long month in Australia, God was working when we didn’t know it!!

hidden in Christ and God
an expression of the life of Christ for He is my life
chosen of God, holy and dearly loved
a son of Light, not of darkness
a holy partaker of a heavenly calling
a partaker of Christ, I share in His life
one of God’s living stones being built up in Christ as a spiritual house
member of Chosen Race, a Royal Priesthood, Holy Nation, a People of God’s own possession
an alien and stranger to the world in which I temporarily live in
an enemy to the devil
a child of God and resemble Christ when He returns
born of God and the evil one, the devil, cannot touch me
I am not the great I AM, but by the grace of God, I am what I am
