My name is Joey Willis. I have been involved in youth ministry for almost ten years, including stints in the Baptist, Methodist, and Presbyterian denominations. Working with teenagers has taught me how to be patient, how to enjoy living for the Gospel, and a good deal of humility. Being a part of teenage lives can be inspiring as well as heartbreaking.

My family consists of two retired teachers – Barbara (mom) and Joe (dad), as well as my brother/bestfriend Randy, my sister-in-law Eleanor, and a year-old namesake nephew named Boston Joey Willis.

I currently live in Nashville, although I grew up in Texas, and am surrounded by some of the best friends imagineable!

I like stories, unpacking my thoughts through writing, talking theology, kayaking, and I have a slight Dr. Pepper addiction.

But mostly, my life is not my own. It is about Jesus. With varying degrees of success, I try to scoot myself out of any internal or external consciousness so that only HIS Glory remanes.
