The
journey never sleeps. It is adventure unique to the one who embarks
on it… an adventure so wild and extravagant that a child, with the most vivid imagination, could not fathom it. A journey littered
with landmines of hardships and failures… sickness and death… yet
immersed in a love that gives life. It is a journey that we can all
choose to go on, but it is a choice that will require sacrifice and
surrender. Though I do not know what your journey holds I can say
this with confidence, if you choose to take this on, it is not
possible to walk away unchanged.
This
has been the story of my life over the past year and a half. My eyes
were opened to the journey of my salvation for the first time. For
the first time scales fell off and I could see it for what it really
was in the present and the intentions of it in the future. My
personal journey has led me around the world and allowed me to
encounter people that most will only see in National Geographic. It
has led me on faith across the United States, where if God didn’t
show up I would have been stranded and broke… it got me from point
A to point B, from L.A. to Alabama. I have lost just about everything
on it, but gained things that this world cannot even begin to put a
price on.
So
where is the journey leading me next? It is time for me to give back
and instill this freedom in the lives of others. That is why I am
going back on the World Race to squad lead. It is 4 to 5 months of
pouring into my generation and helping them to see their journey for
what ever God has called it to be. I am called to speak truth into
their lives, bringing them to a place where religious and worldly
bondage no longer control the direction of there life or the identity
they walk in. I am choosing to take on this challenge not because I
think I am the best for the job, but because I long to see people
firmly and deeply rooted into the heart of the Father. The only thing
that qualifies me for this is Christ… and that is a humbling and
comforting thought.

(my co-leader) and I launch in July with “F” Squad and we’ll be
traveling to India, Nepal, Thailand, and an unknown Asian country. I
need to raise $5,700 for the trip and I need you to help me do that.
I go because I am called to go, if you are not a goer then by default
