How do you fit life into a Blog?  I guess you can’t.  I can share a picture of the Bridgers here in Bozeman, but you don’t get to see the full panorama of mountains all around us.  You don’t get to smell the pines or feel the cold, crisp mornings.  And you don’t get the sense of how small you really are when looking at the endless miles of mountains and plains all around you on top of a peak here in “Big Sky” country.  You get to see the goats in the picture on the left, but the image doesn’t tell you anything about their personality and what it’s like to see them effortlessly bound up and down the mountains without fear and with incredible grace!  There’s so much of life that’s so complex and beautiful when shared with people.  So much beauty that’s hard to describe with words!  The beauty of seeing a relationship restored through forgiveness.  The bonds that develop when hiking 20 miles through the frozen wilderness.  Or just the simple joy of sharing time with one another while creatively making dinner and serving one another.  Life, relationships, love, joy, sorrow, despair, hope, convictions, emotions, forgiveness are all a part of life and yet they’re active, moving, fluid parts of life that are best understood sharing them constantly and interactively with people!  And sadly I know that there will be so many experiences that I wish I could share with all of you in their full emotion that words and pictures here will never be able to describe.  I’ll know something in my heart that you will have to experience on your own to really understand.  But I want to do the best I can to inspire and encourage others in Jesus.  And so I will do the best I can to create a window into the adventure God is continually drawing me into this next year!
