Not your Typical Introduction
My name is (blank.) I was born and raised in (blank.) I went to school at (blank) and I currently work at (blank.) How many introductions start like that? I have heard too many to count. Then how should you start and a good introduction? You fill in the blanks of course! Jesus is the only one who can fill in these blanks though. God named me, gave me a place to live, the ability to go to a great school, and work for a wonderful company.
I can’t call one place home because my life has been in transition for the past 6 years. What happens 6 years ago thought? 6 Years ago I accepted Jesus as my lord and savior. I decided I wanted to live a life that would bring him glory and to love on the people that He placed in my life. That’s why I want to go on the World Race to glorifying Jesus by following His new command. John 13:34 “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.”
I have a hard time with small talk because I always want to go deeper with people. That is why I wrote my intro this way. I want to connect with you all and I know good introductions form connections with others.
