A True Man of God
Our Host in El Salvador
This is a man that I truly admire
He is someone that has a true heart for God
And he is not shy to express it, show it and speak God’s words
He lives it
He is a great friend to so many, he is so easy going and fun
And all of this in spite of having a very very difficult upbringing, abuses, no father and more
I love this man so very much
I would do absolutely anything for him
I don’t care what it is or how far away I am
I would be honored and blessed to be his friend for life
Juan Carlos brings a great big smile to my face
He wakes up each day with a smile and a readiness to step out, he makes breakfast and serves the team without a thought of receiving a thank you
I think he is a beautiful example of true humility
He can go from laughing and goofing off, to seriously inspiring us with God’s word, to serving us in so many ways
I’ve never once seen him complain and never once seen him down
Only tired like any of us would be if we did as much as he in a day
And even then he shows a smile
His smile is big and bright and fills up a room
His smile is contagious
Makes you want to smile when you are around him
You should see him with kids and standing in front of them
He just has a way with them, speaking life and God’s word and God’s lessons into them
He is passionate and abundant, kids eyes fixate of him and listen
He is an amazing musician, he can sing and play the guitar so very well
He can just pick it up and play, he can create songs right along with you
He brings life and beauty to worship, whether that’s on a big stage in front of many or a church body, or sitting in the backyard with his friends
I am honored and blessed to know this man and I pray that we will be friends for the rest of our lives here on earth
God is going to do truly amazing things with this man and I hope that his story is heard because it will inspire all of us to be better men and women
