Jesusita Fire: The Wind Turned

The wind turned. The Jesusita fire is blowing both up the hill and down, toward Santa Barbara, toward my home and office. Several structures are threatened. Smoke is billowing down the valley right over our heads.  The heart of Santa Barbara is swimming in it.  See pictures below. 

 

Oh, and remind me later to get a better camera-phone.  The fact that you can see flames in the second picture means they’re huge and violent.
