I roll over and stare at the clock. The 2:45 am alarm sings a Kerrie Robberts song and I struggle out of bed with the reminder that “No Matter What” God is my hope and my strength.

It’s another day in the life of Jodi. In my car driving to work by 3:15am I arrive at Target just in time to head in for my 4 am work shift. I spend the first half of my day unloading truck, stocking shelves, and joking with co-workers.

By 1pm my shift is done at Target and I am off to Job number two. By 2:45 I arrive at the warehouse, a high school afterschool program where I get to hang out and encourage this group of amazing kids! I Love it! I Love them!

By 6:30 pm I arrive home and, though I think it’s really lame, sometimes I go to bed, or sometimes I sacrifice all need of that thing called sleep and go hang out with friends!

I have discovered that my entire life is a mission field weather I am working at Target, working at the Warehouse, or Hanging out with Family or Friends. My life is all about relationships and loving people.

I have an adventurous spirit, and so it was really no ones surprise that I took off for Idaho on an adventure to visit a friend over 4th of July week this past year. I was in deep need of an adventure! Little did I know that this adventure would lead into a even bigger adventure that would lead into an adventure that I never dreamed of.

After a week in Idaho and Montana I decided to take the rest of the summer and stay in Montana. I felt a need to get away from MY WORLD and refocus on the direction God was leading me. Having no idea what that would look like I stumbled across this really cool missions trip called the world race. I mentioned it to a few friends and started to get the strangest responses. It seemed that everyone I talked to had some sort of connection with The World Race. I applied. I was accepted and I freaked out. I tossed it around in my head for a while and then I gave it up to God.

Now, I am, God willing, GOING to 11 different countries in 11 different months. Crazy? Yes? But, come on, do you know me at all?! I am CRAZY! J

So, Who am I? I am a creation of my God, I am a creature of passion and compassion. Without my God I am nothing. I will speak the name of Christ and I will be heard. I will stand in the awe of the wonders of my Lord. I am only who I am in Christ. I will go where He sends me and I will do what He has asked me to do.

And now I invite you to come and join me…be apart of my team! I can’t do this without you!
