Do Something.
Have
you ever experienced that moment when your heart beats a little faster?
When the core of everything you value begins to shift inside? What do
you do when that burning of injustice comes to the surface and passion
rises up?
There is only one choice, DO SOMETHING.
The World Race Kenya Initiative has begun because families are hurting, children are forgotten and it is unacceptable that they slip through the cracks.
The
project is in the beginning stages of bringing change to the Internally
Displaced People of Kenya. Strategic planning is in motion and we are
looking into the 6 areas of greatest need:
1.Children must be put into school, (Children)
2.Families must be fed, (Food)
3.Clean water needs to be accessible, (Water & Sanitation)
4.Fathers and Mothers need to be equipped to create industry, (Employment)
5. Families need access to educational programs such as HIV/AIDS prevention, money management, and hygiene. (Education)
6. All must have the chance to hear about the love of Christ. (Spiritual Development)
As
we look forward into the project there is a lot to be done. More
information needs to be gathered, networks need to be expanded,
relationships with contacts need to be formed and so…
Logan
Pace and Matt Ruple will be leaving on a journey to Kenya on November
23rd- December 8th. Look back within the next week for updates, stories
and pictures from their trip.
We will be highlighting the 6 areas of need and revealing more details about the projects.
Please keep their journey in your prayers.
