I swore when I signed up for WR that I would NEVER post without pictures. Yet, I am remiss, my pictures cannot be uploaded at the current moment but I have HUNDREDS alreay that I wish to share with all of you.
Today we completed the first leg of the race, my team (we think) came in third but it was literally seconds from the entrance to the park to the top of the highest Temple in the Plaza de Cruces so we all have almost identical arrival times.
The Mayan ruins were spectacular. Not only are the craftsmanship and the historicity of these edifices something to be held in awe, the beauty of the Central American rain forrest is an incredible display of God´s handiwork in creation. I will post pics when I can, but I must sign off for now. It might be a couple days before I can get internet access again but I´ll tell you all about it soon!ç
